Our Mission

Every child deserves to feel seen.

"To provide hope, meals, and care for the children who need it most โ€” and to bring communities together so everybody rises."

We show up in person. We learn every child's name and shoe size. And we make sure the help actually reaches their hands โ€” no middlemen, no overhead machine. Just people taking care of kids, together.

๐ŸŒŸ HopeEvery child gets seen, celebrated, and reminded that better is possible โ€” today with parties and gifts, tomorrow with scholarships and skills.
๐Ÿฝ๏ธ MealsFood bags and meals for families, because no child should have to learn, play, or grow on an empty stomach.
โค๏ธ CareShoes that fit, uniforms for school, and one day the connectivity that links their village to the whole world.

Tyus Together Foundation is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) founded in Michigan, serving the communities of Alto Chorro and Emplanada de Chorcha in rural Panama โ€” with more to come.

What We Do

Real help, delivered hand-to-hand.

Everything we do climbs the same ladder: meet a child's needs today, open their future tomorrow. Here's where it starts.

๐ŸŽ„The Christmas Initiative

Every December, a personalized bag for every single child โ€” new shoes in the right size, an outfit, a toy, fruit, and treats. Nobody gets skipped.

๐ŸŽFood & Meals

We bring the food, the community cooks, and everybody eats together. The first rung of hope is a full stomach โ€” it's where we always start.

๐ŸคCommunity Outreach

Built with each community, not for them โ€” school support, celebrations, and the everyday needs that keep kids healthy and hopeful. Next up: uniforms.

The Vision

We're not just giving gifts. We're building a bridge.

Our goal is simple to say and big to do: bring communities up to speed with the rest of the world, and bring people together to help each other. Here's the road, one step at a time.

1

Christmas parties & food HAPPENING NOW

We show up in person with Christmas bags, new shoes in the right size, and food for families. Every child gets seen, celebrated, and sent home with something of their own.

2

School uniforms

Next up: making sure every child can walk into school with dignity โ€” uniforms and supplies so nothing stands between a kid and their classroom.

3

Scholarships & encouragement

Rewarding the kids who push themselves โ€” scholarships and real encouragement to aim higher, stay in school, and believe that better is possible.

4

Phones, solar power & internet

For communities that want it, we'll bring connectivity โ€” cell phones for students, solar panels, and internet access. We listen first and build only where we're invited. Not every community wants every advancement, and we respect that. Our job is to make sure the ones who do want it get the chance.

5

Skills, opportunity & a connected future

Once a community is connected, doors open: English classes, digital skills, and real earning opportunities โ€” so young people can build a future without having to leave home to find one.

Why this helps at home, too

We believe generosity isn't a one-way street. When a young person in rural Panama learns English, gets online, and earns a real income from their own village, their whole community rises โ€” and they become partners, customers, and friends to families back in America. Stronger communities abroad mean stronger trade, less pressure, and more prosperity shared in both directions. Everybody rises together.

And the long-term dream? A network of communities โ€” places built on purpose, where people are safe, live right, and expect the best from themselves and each other. Not just in Panama. Everywhere.
